A ceramic coating provides far longer protection than wax. Ceramic Coating Application Process
In order to ensure the best possible finish I will start off with a pressure wash and foam bath to remove all loose dirt and grime from all your painted surfaces. This is followed with a detailed hand wash.
Next, all painted surfaces will be decontaminated, both chemically and mechanically. They will be clayed barred to remove all impurities from the paint, creating a smooth surface.
Now that the paint is clean and smooth, I remove minor scratches and visible swirl marks with compounds using a polishing machine. In some cases, scratches that are too deep can't be removed unless the vehicle gets repainted or wet sanded. However, if I think I can remove the scratches with wet sanding I will call you for consent. When I am finished, they will be far less visible. My goal is always to get the vehicle's paint looking as new as possible. With the compound and polishing completed, I then follow up with an isopropyl alcohol wash (IPA) to ensure all compounds, wax oils and residues are completely clear from the pores of the clear coat. This essential step guarantees the ceramic coating will have a strong bond with the paint.
Finally, it is time to apply the ceramic coating. This is a very tedious process, so I take my time to ensure all areas are evenly coated without high spots or streaks. The ceramic coatings I use last anywhere from 2-5 years depending on the package you select. The 5 year package has extra coats of ceramic to guarantee a much longer lasting finish.
As a bonus, a full interior detail is included with all of my ceramic coating packages. The interior detail ensures every crack, crevice and compartment is blown out and vacuumed including the trunk! All rubber, vinyl, and leather areas are cleaned and conditioned. Lastly, the windows and rear view mirror are cleaned, as well as the door handles and door jambs. Don't need the interior detailed? No problem! Just let me know and I will mitigate some of the cost from the package.
